Today, CopSonic is proud to participate in the inauguration of the AMY test for pedestrian crossings in Vélizy.
The residents of Vélizy (Yvelines) will have the opportunity to test the AMY solution starting today. Near the T6 Mairie-de-Vélizy tram station, located on avenue de l’Europe, a double pedestrian crossing crosses a busy road and a tram platform. RATP installed boxes connected to speakers on this crossing located near a college.
When the pedestrian lights turn red, the boxes to which they are connected emit CopSonic ultrasounds recognized by the AMY application. When a pedestrian is about to cross when the traffic light is red, he receives an alert directly on his smartphone.
